I am running for the Utah Senate District 19 because I believe it's time to transform the way government does business. For too long, self-serving politicians have put their own interests ahead of the people they are supposed to represent. My commitment is to put people first and administration second, ensuring that government truly serves its citizens.

One of my top priorities is to simplify the tax code. I support a flat tax after a standard deduction of $24,000 for single filers and $48,000 for joint filers. No one should need a CPA to file their taxes. These changes will make life easier for everyday Utahns and ensure that our tax system is fair and transparent.

As a State Senator, Salvador is dedicated to creating positive change in our community and pursuing the following priorities:

1. Remove state sales taxes from groceries, household personal products, and used products.

2. State managed health care for any Utah resident who serves in the Utah National Guard for six or more years.

3. Supporting DSPD with all necessary funds to ensure proper care for all of our children and adults with special needs.

4. No state income taxes on Social Security, military retired pay, and any type of disability payments.

5. Sale of 6% state tax free savings bonds with a 10% discount to Utah residents.
